“overall pleasant trip. the time allocation to each stop is good, considering the many stops covered and the total distance travelled. if anything, I would appreciate 60-90mins longer trip with more time spent on the Conwy castle and the National park, especially the latter. The tour guide, Frank, is very friendly and helpful. The way he tells stories and engages with the group is very interesting and creative. He contributed greatly to the overall experience my wife and I had.”

“Great day with Frank. We saw a lot of different places. You spend a lot of time in the car, but the scenery is beautiful and Frank has a few tricks up his sleeve to make time fly. The meeting point is at the airport, next to the trains coming from Manchester (my advice : try to buy your train tickets in advance, since the fare is much cheaper in advance) I also recommend the welsh cakes that you can by at several pastry shops, along the way (delicous !)”

“We had a lovely time with Shelly in North Wales! She took us through the breathtaking nature and the cute villages. We spent 45min in Llandudno, 2h in Conwy, 45min at Llynogwen, and 45min in Betws-y-coed. Every place was absolutely worth the stop. However, more time in Llandudno and at Llynogwen and less in Conwy and Betws-y-coed would have made the trip even better!”

“Snowdonia National Park was my favorite. My least favorite was the Walled City. If I had to do it over, I would’ve immediately beelined for the castle for a tour. There wasn’t enough in my opinion to see otherwise. By the time I thought of it, I had wasted time by going to the bathroom and pendling around.”

Throughout the journey, Gareth shared his tremendous knowledge of Welsh folklore and tradition and answered any questions from us about the Welsh. [He uses a microphone so everyone in the van can clearly hear]. He is also a careful driver which I appreciated as it was raining off and on that day. We started with Dylan Thomas's village and the estuary with the Norman castle and Thomas' statue for a short stop. [As it was pouring that day, Gareth changed the sequence of the stops to fit the weather- much appreciated.]…”
