“It was a good trip. It delivered the options as shown, but with limited time it is tough to really get into it. That is no fault of Viator. We would recommend reading up on Hadrian's wall and the Roman fort beforehand. In hindsight I would have taken a B&B to get more time. For history buffs you would need at least an entire day to take everything in. We had beautiful weather though. Our driver Bruce is a great guy. He answered all questions concerning Scotland and it's ways.”

I walk is a good idea if you want to find your way around. We were taken on a very scenic route down the path from the cathedral. The nature and the river is impressive. Great place for a photo.
